The ubiquity of the mobile technology (smartphones and tablets) in the last decade is strongly influencing the interactions between people and space. The author is unsure of the potential, not fully understood, of these new devices and how this revolution also involves tourism.

L’enorme diffusione della mobile technology (smartphone e tablet) nell’ultimo decennio sta fortemente influenzando le interazioni tra le persone e lo spazio. L’autore dell’articolo si interroga sulle potenzialità, non del tutto comprese, di questi nuovi dispositivi e su come questa rivoluzione coinvolga anche il turismo.
